Metturo

​Mateo Metturo de Oliveira Gomes Silva, known artistically as Metturo, is a Brazilian-Mexican actor, content creator, and singer. Born in Garanhuns, Pernambuco, he has Mexican, Uruguayan, and Indigenous ancestry. His artistic journey began in childhood, at age 6, when he debuted on stage in theater productions at Maria Tavares do Nascimento School and Luiz Souto Dourado Theater. He later received a scholarship from SESC to deepen his study of performing arts, eventually acting in over 20 plays in the region. ​Parallel to his work in theater, Metturo pioneered digital content creation. In 2010, at age 12, he began creating content on Orkut and Facebook, becoming one of the first young bloggers in his hometown. That same year, he moved to São Paulo to expand his studies and career. In 2010, he was cast in the SBT telenovela Corações Feridos as Théo—a project filmed that year and broadcast in 2012. In October 2011, he auditioned for SBT's remake of Carrossel. Joining the production, he worked as an extra and body double for the character Jorge Cavalieri. ​His television visibility boosted his online presence. In 2014, he earned official verification on his Facebook page, where he began his professional monetization. In 2015, he achieved notable recognition by reaching nearly 500,000 followers on Instagram, going viral with music videos. In 2016, he temporarily stepped away from social media due to personal reasons. ​Returning to São Paulo in 2017, he joined the cast of the feature film Internet - O Filme. That same year, he filmed the LGBT feature Un Rubio in Argentina, playing the character Arturo. Next, he made a guest appearance in the futuristic feature film Divino Amor, shot in Recife. In 2020, he ventured into the music industry as an independent artist and released an album before redirecting his focus to content creation. In 2021, he starred in the film Doce Encanto as the antagonist Gabriel. ​In 2022, he participated in filming for Netflix's Rebelde reboot in Mexico, playing Teo Alo. That same year, he partnered with TV host Ratinho as brand ambassador and content creator for the Altas Horas Outlet venture. Between 2022 and 2024, he established himself as the leading male content creator in Garanhuns. In 2023 and 2024, he became the official face of the Garanhuns Winter Festival (FIG). ​In 2023, his name was widely rumored for the reality show A Fazenda 15. In May 2024, he publicly announced a relationship with Mexican businessman Alffon Ortiz, which ended in August of the same year. In 2025, he traveled to Mexico again, where he actively collaborated with the Amor Infinito NGO alongside actress Bárbara Mori. His name was once again linked to A Fazenda 17, scheduled for broadcast in late 2025.
