Paul Mazursky bol americký filmový režisér, scenárista a herec, známy svojimi dramatickými komédiami, ktoré často riešili moderné spoločenské problémy. Bol nominovaný na päť cien Akadémie za filmy Bob & Carol & Ted & Alice (1969), An Unmarried Woman (1978), Harry and Tonto (1974) a Enemies, A Love Story (1989). Okrem toho režíroval aj ďalšie známe filmy ako Next Stop, Greenwich Village (1976), Moscow on the Hudson (1984), Down and Out in Beverly Hills (1986), Moon over Parador (1988) a Scenes from a Mall (1991).
